Red River Regional Council Board of Directors

The Regional Council is governed by a seventeen member Board of Directors. The membership is partially mandated by the North Dakota Century Code and includes a representative from an identifiable and organized minority group; one soil conservation district supervisor from each county; a representative from local development corporations; chairperson of the regional employment and training council; and a majority of the full regional council membership must be composed of existing elected city officials and county commissioners. Selection of the actual members are made by their respective groups. The Board of Directors meets on a monthly basis, usually on the third Thursday of each month. The Regional Council Board of Directors is governed by its by-laws which were last revised in 2007.
